Sunday School

EXCITING NEWS!!

Sunday school classes for 2024 begin Sunday, September 15th.  You are welcome to join us at anytime during the year.

Classes begin at 9:00am and are located in the lower level of the building.  Class time is 9:00-9:30am. At 9:30 all classes gather in the sanctuary for music until 9:45am.

The Sunday School curriculum offers something for all ages from potty trained 3 year olds up to 4th grade.  (5th-8th grade students are part of our Wed. evening Confirmation program.)

Our goal is to provide age-appropriate opportunities for kids to experience stories from the Bible and begin forming their faith and living out that faith at home, at school and in everything they do.

Our students and families grow in faith together using primarily Spark Lectionary curriculum.  We also try and provide some intergenerational activities throughout the year.  Watch for more details!!

We ask that all families fill out a 2024-2025 Registration Form so that we can be sure and include you in information that is sent out.  Updates are sent primarily via e-mail.  The registration form is 2 pages and is a fillable PDF. Please download fill it out, save it to your computer and email the completed forms to the church office.

Faith formation is a family affair! So please be sure to volunteer to help in some way. WE NEED YOU!

Questions about Sunday School this year?  Please contact the church office 920-336.1082 or office@stjohndepere.org.

Worship and building updates

September 21, 2022

The Congregation Council has amended its Covid-19 protocol.  Effective September 21, 2022, St. John will no longer be requiring that masks be worn based upon the Brown County Covid-19 Community Transmission Rate.  Any individual who needs to or prefers to wear a mask is welcomed to do so. The Congregation Council will continue to monitor the situation and adjust these protocols as needed.

The 8:00 a.m. (9:00am summer) service will be livestreamed and available on our YouTube channel.

The Council continues to review information from health officials and will modify our guidelines as is appropriate.

Creating a positive impact

We’re a congregation that cares. As Christians, we care about others and strive to have a positive impact on other people’s lives. Whether it’s someone in our congregation, our community or our world, we’re there in times of need, in times of joy and all the times between.

We demonstrate our caring spirit every day. We volunteer. We reach out to charitable organizations.  Whether it’s painting a house, donating food or raising funds to buy fruit trees for others across the globe, we help our neighbors in need. Read more about our people and our congregation »
